This development is situated in the hillside above Gumusluk a lively fishing port which stands on the ancient site of Myndus. Bring your diving mask with you as there are some spectacular sights just below water! One of the main attractions is “Rabbit Island” situated in the bay and accessible by a causeway offering magnificent panoramic views.

The village is full of some of the best fish and seafood restaurants and there are little Turkish craft shops offering leather goods, silver & gold, and lots of the local blue glass beads.

An old Greek Orthodox Chapel has been remodelled and is now used as an art gallery and cultural centre and you may be lucky enough to catch good musicians playing when you visit.

The westerly aspect provides some spectacular views and in particular amazing sunsets!

Situated in the Didim area, Akbuk with beautiful beaches, calm clear water and surrounded by mountains is waiting to welcome you. It is an ideal spot for families and individuals who love peace and quiet.

Previously a fishing village, the fishermen now benefit from providing boat trips along the coasts during the summertime. During your visit, the Chapel on the coastline close to the town centre is very well preserved and is open to public visits.

There are many quaint restaurants by the sea serving delicious fish and local food with very reasonable prices. Many people who come and stay here don’t want to leave!
